Data Collection Associate - Intern

About the Role

We are looking to hire multiple remote associates to perform simple computer-based tasks that will help us gather data for an AI “computer-use” agent. If you have a computer, an internet connection, and basic browsing skills, you can do this job! No special experience or technical background is required though you have to understand English proficiently to be able to complete the tasks. This is an ideal role for anyone seeking flexible, work-from-home opportunities on their own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Instructions to Complete Computer Tasks: You will be given a series of straightforward tasks to perform on your computer. Examples might include navigating to a website, filling out a form, clicking certain buttons, copying text, or arranging files into folders. For each task, you will need to record your screen and submit the results as instructed via the platform.
• Quality Assurance: Pay attention to detail and follow the guidelines for each task. If a step doesn’t work or you encounter an error, document it or retry as directed. We rely on accurate data, so part of your responsibility is to make sure you’re doing the tasks correctly and reporting any issues or anomalies.
• Maintain Confidentiality: (If applicable) You may be given access to pre-release software or confidential project information. You must agree to keep all data and task details private, and not share them externally. (We will ask you to sign a simple confidentiality agreement before starting, if required.)
• Meet Task Targets: This is a flexible role, but we do have volume needs. We’ll ask you to commit to completing a certain number of tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic Computer Literacy: You should be comfortable using a computer and the internet. This includes using a web browser, typing, downloading/uploading files, and navigating websites or applications.
• English Reading Skills: The instructions and tasks will be in English, so you need to understand written English adequately. (Fluency is not required, but you should be able to follow instructions in English).
• Attention to Detail: The tasks are easy but require you to follow steps precisely. You should be the type of person who can stick to a procedure and double-check your work.
• Reliability: Able to work independently and manage your time. Since this is remote, we expect you to be responsible in completing the agreed number of tasks on time each day or week.
• Device & Internet: You must have access to a computer (desktop or laptop) running a recent version of Windows, MacOS, or Linux, with a reliable internet connection. (Tasks cannot be completed on a smartphone – a desktop/laptop is required.) The screen recording platform will require a lightweight screen-recording platform and a keyboard tracking app, so you should have permission to install programs on your computer.

Nice to Have (but NOT required)

• Prior experience with micro-task platforms or data entry jobs.
• Any background in testing software or doing repetitive computer work.
• Flexible availability (the more hours you can put in, the more tasks we can assign).

Compensation Details

• Pay Structure: We pay per month and have a quota of tasks that need to be completed. Each task is straightforward and usually takes a few minutes.
• Payment Schedule: Payments are made monthly. We’ll track tasks through our platform; you’ll have an account where you can see how many tasks you completed.
• Bonuses/Performance Incentives: To reward quality and consistency, we can offer bonuses. Also, if you complete more tasks in a week, we might give an extra payout. Our goal is to compensate you fairly for good work.
• Flexible Hours: You can work at any time of day that suits you. There is no fixed schedule – as long as you meet the minimum number of tasks, you can spread the work out or do it all in a few sessions. This is perfect to fit around classes or other jobs.
